Fabric crush: Art Gallery Fabrics Capsules collection

Art Gallery Fabrics Capsules Letters fabric

We’ve loved working with Art Gallery Fabrics on our 50th issue (check out our #lpq32blocksSAL over on instagram), and along the way we’ve fallen in love with their new Capsules collection. They’ve captured some of our favourite trends in the quilting world this season, from typography to low vol prints and bold geometrics. We’re especially smitten with three of the new ranges… Letters, Lower the Volume and Take Shape. Scroll down to see a few of our favourites…

Spell it out

Give your quilts a colour boost with extra positive vibes with the Letters range (pictured above). We love them for their informal feel, happy-making colour combos and playful elements.. XOXO They’re the perfect way to nail the typography trend in your quilts this season!

Art Gallery Fabrics Capsules Lower the volume

Quieten down

Take your colour combos down a notch or two with the Lower the Volume range. Bring a fresh, crisp element to your patchwork this Fall with neutral fabrics… perfect for backgrounds or a complementary blender to showcase bolder prints. Cloud Parentethis and Silent Typewriter (above top right and top left) are topping our fabric wish list this month!

Art Gallery Fabrics Take Shape fabric

Mid-century moderns

We’re loving the trend for mid-century design in our homes, so we’re super-excited to see the Take Shape collection translate it into bold gemetric prints for our quilts too. Think edgy triangles, striking circles and bold stripes plus a palette punctuated with mustard, black and grey – we want to the complete set!
