Friday Fabric: Michael Miller Cotton Couture

Love Patchwork & Quilting bias curve quilt

We’re loving the solids fabric trend! We got to have fun with appliqué this month and get clever with pieced strips to make this colour pop mini with cool curved style. You can find our mini quilt in issue 50 – it’s the perfect way to try some improv design and practise your curved piecing skills. Along the way we’ve become smitten with the solid fabrics we used to make it – they’re from the Cotton Couture collection by Michael Miller.

For this project we picked out some of our fave on-trend colours from the Michael Miller Cotton Couture collection (available from EQS). They have an incredible range of shades to choose from, so whether you’re looking to showcase solids like we did with a colour pop pair or pick out the perfect match for your next-project print, you’re sure to find what you need in the collection. We went for Royal and Starfruit as our feature fabrics – we just can’t get enough of fresh green and blue combos right now – and then paired them with our go-to background fabric shade Ozone.

Sponsored postOur friends over at EQS have sponsored the project and provided us with these lovely fabrics. They distribute all kinds of quilty supplies across the UK that we just couldn’t be without! To find your nearest stockist, visit www.eqsuk.com
