Quilting fabric

We’re joining in with the instagram #getyourquiltywishesgranted hashtag this month, after seeing so many lovely posts fill up our feed with quilters around the world answering each others’ calls for a patchwork fairy godmother! Our post last week calling out for quilty wishes was answered by 258 quilters, and now it’s time for the fun bit! We’re going to start granting your wishes. From today onwards, we’ll be granting quilty wishes in batches. This is the first of five posts. Today we are sending out fabric.

Quite a few of the wishes on our feed asked for fabric, and while we couldn’t grant them all, we’ve picked three at random to send some happy post to!

Today we’re granting quilty wishes for…

Jessica Soares Fairbanks (aka @chiapea) wished for an assortment of pink fabrics to make a quilt for someone who is battling breast cancer. We’ve got a batch of hand-picked pink fabrics for you.

Di over at @willowbeckdesigns wished for some fabric for the Siblings Together charity, so more quilts could be made for these children – wish granted!

Kate Mulroony Alicea in Florida (aka @katealicia) wished for fabric & thread for an after school quilting and sewing program that she volunteers at – wish granted!

Come back and see us soon to see if your wish is among the wishes we’re granting, and if you’d like to grant some wishes of your own, check out the hashtag #getyourquiltywishesgranted over on instagram.
