For years now, The British Craft Awards have been one of the most prestigious events in the world of making things, celebrating the designers, brands and companies who bring us happiness with their craft inspiration and innovation. But as quilters, we haven’t had the chance to join in the fun, until now! The 2017 awards are set to include quilting categories for the first time, and we’ve already cast our votes! The awards are a great chance to show your favourite shops, supplies, bloggers and designers some love by supporting them, and recognise all the brilliant work that goes on in the quilting industry every day.
This year’s awards will feature five brand new quilting categories:
- Product of the year
- Designer of the year
- Blogger of the year
- Brand of the year
- Retailer of the year
So if you have a favourite fabric shop or quilting table piece of kit that you couldn’t live with out, or a blogger or designer whose quilts have kept you buzzing with ideas this year, now’s your chance to vote for them! Visit www.britishcraftawards.com to have your say before voting closes on 20th December 2016, plus you could even win £100 of Amazon vouchers!
