So obviously the first thing we did was to race to our fabric stash and start pulling anything with this beautiful purple, lilac, amethyst hue – old or new. Pantone Radiant Orchid isn’t as popular a colour as many, but it’s now sure to be having its moment in 2014, in fashion, interiors and of course, quilting!
Clockwise from TL: Art Gallery Fabrics / Bari J. Ackerman / Bijoux / Into the Wild in Lilac; Lizzy House / Pearl Bracelet in Lila; Michael Miller / Mod Basics / Fannie in Orchid; Alexander Henry / Kitty Kat Habitat in Paste
We also adore all the amazing mood boards and images, created by Pantone themselves such as this one, and those curated and created by colour lovers everywhere on Pinterest – take a look!
What do you think? Does Pantone Radiant Orchid light up your life, or leave you feeling less than glowing?
